SnoFest!!! 2010
What a great event! The turnout was wonderful - and here are some numbers to prove it. There were 37 cardboard derby entries, 12 snowshoe entries (a first-time event for SnoFest), 875 party-goers Friday night, 750 party-goers Saturday night, 77 racers on Friday and 111 on Saturday.

Year of the Air Force Family
The Secretary and the Chief of Staff of the Air Force have named July 2009 - July 2010 the Year of the Air Force Family. It's a way for leadership to inform Airmen, family members, surrounding communities and DoD audiences on the variety and scope of programs offered by the Air Force. The Year of the Air Force Family will highlight the many successful programs already in place and inform Airman and their families of new programs unveiling throughout the year. Volunteer Ski Trip Drivers Needed
Volunteers receive a free lift ticket and free rental equipment. ODR ski trips go every weekend, December through March. Destinations include Monarch, Keystone, and Copper Mountain. Volunteers must be 18 years or older and must be active duty, DoD/NAF Civilians, or approved contractors. Volunteers must also be certified in CPR and have a GOV driver's license. To find out how to volunteer, get certified in CPR and obtain a GOV license, call PAFB's Outdoor Recreation at 556-4867.

The Civilian Training Office offers you an opportunity to watch training videos while you eat your lunch. Base Shuttle
The Orbiter, the internal base shuttle, operates Monday through Friday, and is free of charge. It is for duty passengers conducting official business throughout the installation; dependents are authorized to use the shuttle on a space available basis.
